Evan Ballantyne is a Registered Nurse and ASN Nurse Manager who lives and works in Orlando, Florida. Evan has worked for years with critical care patients who often have PICC or IV sites. When patients needed to shower, she would use garbage bags, bio hazard bags, plastic wrap and medical tape to protect the IVs and PICCs from getting wet. Preparing patients for this process was time consuming and painful to the patient.
